Our Foundation
While our focus is non-medical home care, Boston Kaigo Helpers was established by a Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Management of Aging Services and a number of years of experience in acute care, long-term care, hospice, and care management. Our demonstrated commitment to serving the elderly and our foundation of medical knowledge sets us apart from other agencies.
Our Caregivers
The goal of Boston Kaigo Helpers is to have a reputation for hiring the highest caliber caregivers. We invest in a hiring process that’s not feasible for the typical family looking for assistance. Using a rigorous practice that includes criminal background checks and verified employment references, we prioritize kindness, honesty and conscientiousness. We look for a balance of caregiving experience and certifications (e.g. Certified Nursing Assistants, Personal Care Attendants, etc.) as well as passion and high motivation.
Selecting the Best Caregiver for Your Needs Matching you with the right caregiver is an art, and we are very good at it. After we interview you and your loved one, we listen to your needs and preferences so we have a good understanding of who might be the best choice. Feedback is important once the care begins, and we work with you to make sure the fit is comfortable.
We Carefully Manage All of Our Caregiver Team Our caregivers are W2 employees, not contractors. The entire Boston Kaigo Helpers team is insured and bonded, and we use state of the art technology to manage schedules, locations, clocking in and out, and more.
If you don’t want to deal with the liabilities of hiring a private caregiver, let us do the hiring, training, supervising and paying of your caregiver. On top of that, we provide insurance coverage to cover any damages our caregivers might inadvertently cause in your home. We take all the risk — so you can focus on your loved one and rest assured that they are receiving the right kind of support.
We’re committed to providing the HIGHEST quality care!
We pride ourselves in hiring people for their compassion, experience, and flexibility. But we know this isn’t all it takes to provide the best care possible. Caregivers also need excellent skills and competency in care — and that comes from excellent training.
Why does training matter?
- Trained caregivers provide the highest quality of care to you or your loved one
- Trained caregivers know how to recognize when medical care is needed
- Trained caregivers can help their clients avoid injury around the home
A caregiver who is specifically trained in his or her job will provide a consistent, higher level of quality care.
